Great shoes!

My new little walker hated other shoes but loves these. They are sturdy enough to walk around outdoors, but flexible enough that she will keep them on.

Hello, I want to purchase these Giselle Mid Pink shoes for my daughter. She is a 17 month old toddler. Her shoe size is a 4 and I was advised to always get half a size larger so 4.5. However, for these particular shoes I am having difficulty understanding the sizing as they are according to the child's age in number of months. If I were to purchase a 4.5 shoe size, that would convert to how many inches and what size do I need to get for these particular Giselle Mid Pink shoes? Do your shoe sizes generally run big or small?
